Meet our Staff

Our staff at Cassell Training Center is comprised of highly skilled and qualified dance teachers and gymnastic coaches.   Our mission at CTC is to create a loving and positive atmosphere while instilling an appreciation for the art of dance and gymnastics.  

 

We encourage creativity and are continually finding ways to boost our students' self esteem.  We truly believe that we are a family here at CTC and we look forward to having you join our family..

Darci Reinink

Dance and gymnastics have been part of Darci’s life since she was 4 years old. She has been teaching dance and gymnastics for the past 15 years.

Darci is our efficient and knowledgeable office manager, but don't be surprise to see her filling in sometimes in the gym or the dance rooms.

 

Patti Winsemius

Patti started dancing at the age of 5 and has been dancing ever since. She attended Miss Chastain’s dance studio in New Jersey, then Ken and Judy Joseph’s ballet school in Michigan City, Indiana.

Trained in both Russian and Cecchetti ballet methods, Patti has been teaching dance for more than 30 yrs. Growing up near NYC, she has a passion for musical theatre and tap dancing.

She has choreographed for dance competitions, community events and local schools, including Mona Shores Pops Concert. Meanwhile, her other “job” is being a mom and a grandmother to a very large family. Her passion for both dance and her family is something she cherishes.​

 

Maria Tetzlaff

Maria has been dancing since she was 3 and has been teaching for over 10 years. Miss Maria teaches hip hop, lyrical, jazz, ballet and tap. She was a competitive dancer for many years and now she and Miss Trena run the CTC competitive dance program.

 

Maria was trained in the Cecchetti ballet method and passed her level 4 student exam. She continues to take master classes and attend dance workshops.

She has choreographed for school muscials, cheerleading, and special community events. Maria is a Mom to 2 active sons, Brayden and Tate.

 

Trena Gould

Trena was a competitive dancer at Cassell Gymnastics and Dance for 12 years and has been on staff for 14 years. She has also trained the Cecchetti ballet method up to the professional level  She is qualified in teaching all genres and runs the CTC competitive dance program with Miss Maria.

Miss Trena also has a full time job as the HR Support Specialist at the Employers Association of West Michigan. She was married last year to Brody loves spending her free time in Silver Lake with her family and friends. 

 

Maddy Gleason

Miss Maddy has been dancing since she was 3 and has been teaching for over 10 years.  Her favorite genres to teach are hip hop, jazz and musical theatre. She was a competitive dancer and involved in the Allegros Musical Theatre program at Mona Shores. You can also find her choreographing for MCC and Muskegon Civic Theatre. 

Miss Maddy is also an English teacher at North Muskegon HS.  In her free time she loves to plan her next trip and spend time with family and friends.

Sierrah Vredevelde

Sierrah has been dancing for over 13 years. She has studied in all genres and has been on our competitive dance team. When she is not teaching, Sierrah is attending college studying to become a nurse and working at Tim Hortons.  Sierrah has always enjoyed helping her fellow dance students and she is very excited to be on our teaching staff and so are we.

 

 

 

Heather Greene

For more than 15 years, Heather coached both competitive and recreational gymnastics at Cassell Gymnastics and Dance. She was also an active member of the ballet program for over a decade.

 

With her dance, and elementary school educational experience, our students are sure to learn a lot from her.

Currently, Heather is a school teacher at Oakridge Upper Elementary. She enjoys photography and spending time with her nieces and nephews.

Harper Trombley​

Harper has been dancing at Cassell's for about 13 years.  She of course loves to dance and is part of our competitive team. Harper started assisting last year and this year she has her own classes. Besides dancing, she enjoys watching hockey, babysitting and hanging with her friends.  She is currently attending Mona Shores High School and is looking forward to teaching all her new students. 

 

 

 

Sydney Foreman

Sydney has been involved in dancing since she was in preschool.  She was a competitive dancer and now she is one of our competition teachers.  This is Miss Sydney's 10th year teaching dance and coaching gymnastics.   When she is not teaching she is working on getting her education degree.  You also might see her in the summer working at Michigans Adventure.  In her free time, Miss Sydney loves spending time with her dogs. 

 

 

 

Hannah Greene

Miss Hannah has been dancing for over 10 years and has been assisting for the past 2 years. She is one of our competitive dancers and dances in all genres.  Hannah is very excited to have her own class this year.  She is the oldest of 3 in her family so teaching and communicating with younger students comes naturally to her.

She enjoys playing Lacrosse and is looking forward to a great year.  

 

 Megan Kraley

Coach Megan has been doing gymnastics for 11 years and 7 of those years she was a competitve gymnast.  She grew up at the Cassell gym and is so happy to be back.Megan is finishing her associates degree at MCC while also working at Fruitport Early Childhood Center.  Children and gymnastics are 2 things she loves so coaching young students is the perfect job for her.

Katelyn Morris

Katelyn grew up taking dance and gymnastics and at Cassell's starting when she was 3 years old. She recently graduated form Grove City College where she was apart of the cheer team and the Orchesis Dance Company. Outside of teaching, Katelyn works as a social media marketer for Steve Morris Engines. She is excted to be back home and teaching this year

Brad is a sports enthusiast that brings 4 years of hands on experience coaching and managing youth basketball programs.  As a committed mentor, he empowers young athletes to reach their fullest potential and is driven by helping others succeed.  Outside of coaching, he enjoys an active family life with his wife Jenny and their two daughters, Stella and Lola
